Terms and Conditions
The following is a legal agreement between you BWS. This Agreement governs your use of our book, Standards and Medical Management for Captive Insectivorous Bats. Please read this page carefully. If you do not accept the Terms and Conditions stated here, do not use this web site and service. Bat World Sanctuary (BWS) may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating this posting. Please should visit this page periodically to review the Terms and Conditions, because they are binding on you. The terms “you” and “your” as used herein refer to all individuals and/or entities accessing the book page(s) of our website for any reason. 

Upon completion of payment, your will be provided access to the above titled book based on your subscription preference as outlined herein. Standard subscription: You acknowledge that you are aware that the Standard Subscription includes lifetime access to the book, but does not include any updates or videos. You acknowledge that you are aware that an option exists to upgrade to the Premium Subscription at any time for paying an additional $100.00 (US). Premium Subscription: You will have one lifetime access to the book which includes updates and videos that will be added to as they become available. You acknowledge that you are aware that updates and videos will be made available as they occur in nature, but cannot be any guaranteed at any specified time or in any specified amount/number.

You understand that reproduction and unauthorized use of this book is strictly prohibited. Absolutely no rights of distribution, reproduction, or preparation of derivative works, in whole or in part, is granted. No text, graphics, videos or photos may be downloaded and used on another Internet site. BWS will actively and legally protect against infringement of our materials, starting with the deactivation of an account without a refund.

It is your obligation to follow the recommendations of medical health and medical care professionals and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. You understand that no statement made on this web site, in this agreement or in the book you are subscribing to shall be construed as permission or recommendation to handle bats. Any medical or animal care content provided in the book is intended for use by persons in possession of appropriate licenses and permits and vaccinated against rabies. You acknowledge that information regarding health and safety precautions may not be adequate for all individuals and/or situations, including yourself.

You agree to hold harmless BWS and its subsidiaries and their respective officers, directors, volunteers, agents, affiliates, distributors, franchisees, web developers and employees against any liabilities, losses, claims, damages, punitive damages, causes of action, lawsuits, costs and expenses including without limitation; attorneys’ fees and disbursements of every kind, nature, and description suffered, sustained, incurred in connection with, resulting from, or arising out of, directly or indirectly any claim, demand, proceeding, or lawsuit by a third party based on any assertion that the services provided to you under this agreement breaches the patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary right of such third party and/or any breach of any representation or warranty you set forth in this agreement, this website and in the book Standards and Medical Management for Captive Insectivorous Bats, or in any other form or document in connection herewith.

Refunds and Cancellations
Standard Subscription: Any refund of a Standard Subscription is at our absolute discretion and will only be considered in the most exceptional circumstances. Refund requests for cancellation of a Standard Subscription must be made in writing by sending a letter to BWS confirming that a download of Standards and Medical Management for Captive Insectivorous Bats was either never installed on your computer or related device, or has been deleted from your computer and/or any related computer device. This letter must include the reason for cancellation and it must be signed in blue ink. This letter should be mailed to the address listed below.

Premium Subscription: A refund of $100.00US will be considered within 3 days of the date the Premium Subscription was created. The unused portion ($49) will then be applied to a Standard Subscription. Any refund of a standard subscription is at our absolute discretion and will only be considered in the most exceptional circumstances. Refund requests for cancellation of a Standard Subscription must be made in writing by sending a letter to BWS confirming that a download of Standards and Medical Management for Captive Insectivorous Bats was either never installed on your computer or related device, or has been deleted from your computer and/or any related computer device.
