Bat World Sanctuary is an all volunteer organization. Thank you to everyone who helped us with donations.
Your support allowed to accomplish the following during 2007.
 
RESCUED 1,076 insectivorous bats; 22 fruit bats.
PROGRAMS 9,300 educational programs were given at 198 different locations such as schools, seminars and festivals. An estimated 80,900 people attended these programs.

WORKSHOPS Held our seventh annual workshop on the rehabilitation of insectivorous bats at Bat World Sanctuary. Participants included biologists, rehabilitators and scientists from the U.S., the Canada.
ADMINISTRATION We provided consultations to zoos in Nevada and Mexico regarding housing and husbandry of captive zoo bats.
ACTIVISM We exposed the cruelty of TSU students, who killed bats with wet floor signs and brooms after luring them into their dorm hallway. Our 2006 petition against Wards Natural Science continues.

CONSULTATIONS
 
Were sought out for guidance for educational materials, habitat enrichment, and rehabilitation advice by the Springs Preserve in Las Vegas, NV, the Vienna Institute of Veterinary Medicine and by conservation scientists in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and the Philippine Bat Conservation Society..
