The mission of Bat World Southern New England (BWM) is to provide rescue for all bats living in Southern New England.  For us, rescue means hands-on rehabilitative care, education and advocacy wherever needed to promote the well being of bats. Each year more and more bats are killed or left homeless from such human activities as pesticide use, habitat destruction, improper exclusions, etc. BWM works for the conservation of all bats—whether on a local, regional or national level. For information please visit one of the pages above or contact:Caroline Glaser, DirectorBat World MassachusettsHm. 203-233-3650Massachusetts@batworld.org

In order to give an injured, orphaned or ill bat its best chance, it needs to reach a trained rehabilitator as soon as possible.  BSWNE provides contact information for a network of knowledgeable, trained bat rehabilitators throughout the region.  Click here to find a rehabber nearest you.
