Bat World Boot Camp is an intensive
educational program. While a minimum educational level is not
required to be a student at Bat Camp, a high level of professionalism
is expected.
- Please note
that this is a "camp" experience. For the safety of the bats,
staff and other students, students will be expected to cooperate
with instructors at all times and work with others as a TEAM.
Boot Camp founders and instructors have found this method of
teaching and training to be highly effective.
- It is expected
that students be prompt and remain at the lectures for the
appointment times.
- Students are
expected to follow directions completely. If something is
not understood, the student is expected to ask for clarification
before proceeding. The bats being cared for during Boot Camp weeks
can be very fragile, and any change from routine can prove to be
life-threatening to them. Therefore, there will be no deviations
from the already established Boot Camp schedule. If, at the end of
Boot Camp, the student has a recommendation for future camps,
those suggestions can be written on the evaluation.
- Students are
expected to show respect to other students. Trading positions on
the schedule or interrupting other students during their specific
training (without prior permission) will not be tolerated. If you
finish your assignment early, please ask one of the instructors
where in the facility you could prove to be most useful at that
time.
- The conditions
at Bat World are clean, sanitary and sometimes sterile.
Therefore, it is expected that students attend class in clean
attire, exercising good personal hygiene.
